Additional Coverage and Endorsements we offer:

Emergency Colic Surgery Coverage – Provides coverage for emergency colic surgery expense up to $2,500. Available at no additional premium for horses in Race Training only.

Major Medical – Provides coverage for veterinary treatment which results from accident, illness, disease and surgery. Annual cost is an additional $200.00 with a limit is $5,000. Contact our office for complete details.

Stallion AS&D (infertility) –Specifically for Breeding Stallions to protect against infertility which occurs as a result of accident, sickness, disease or injury. There is an additional charge for this endorsement.

Prospective Foal – Coverage provided for the loss of an unborn foal. Coverage is for no earlier than 42 days in foal to 30 days after the live birth of foal. A satisfactory veterinarian examination must be provided stating an ultrasound was performed and was negative for twins. Rates vary, please contact our office for complete details.

Barrenness – Coverage for Broodmares only. Coverage for failure to reproduce from any cause in mares which are neither pregnant or maiden at commencement of the breeding season covered by this insurance. Rate varies, please contact our office for complete details.

Stallion First Season Infertility – Also known as Congenital Infertility. This coverage is for stallions entering stud for the first time. Coverage is provided for the congenital inability of the insured stallion to breed mares or any congenital abnormality of his semen.

Trip Transit – Provides coverage for animals in the course of transit on a single trip basis. Simply put, covers your animal from point A to point B. Standard mortality rate applies, with a minimum policy premium of $200.00.
